Why Hello There!
My name is Katelyn Oswald, and I am a graphic designer working in the Twin Cities at Columbus as their Marketing Specialist, as well as doing freelance work. I'm a graduate of Iowa State University where I received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Magna Cum Laude and with Honors. Along with my current employment, my graphic design experience has included both professional and volunteer opportunities. I have done freelance work with Haag Design and an internship with MacPhail Center for Music, as well as coursework and student publications from Iowa State and volunteering with the Northern Star Council of the Boy Scouts of America in designing patchwork for their events for the past five years.
I have also aided in and conducted my own research in the field of package design and how it influences children's decision-making with food and drink products. My experience with research was featured in Access Iowa State's March 2014 issue, and can be read here.
